UPDATE: Firefox has issued an update (v.12). Please update to this version if you have not already done so. To update go to Help>About Firefox (Win) or Firefox>About Firefox (Mac).

This update corrects the issue with the HTML editor. Pages with more than one HTML editor should now function normally. Please contact moodle@beloit.edu if you experience any issues with this.

Hi All,

It appears that the latest update to Firfox has broken part of the rich text editor that Moodle uses (Tiny MCE). The behavior is that in any page that contains more than one editing area (Compose a Webpage, Quizzes with multiple essay answer fields) only the first editng area will function.

There are two work arounds:

1. You can click the fullscreen button , then enter text. When you go back to the normal view you will not see the text you entered, but it will be there when you save.
2. You can use Google Chrome. this issue does not appear there.

This is a known issue and a fix will be coming shortly. I will let you know when this is complete.

It appears that Forums are not sending out copies to email in Moodle or Moodle Groups. If you are missing posts please check the forum on the course page.

You may notice that the login block is no longer available. It has been disabled for security reasons. You can always login by clicking the "Login" link located in the top-right corner.
